How to Clear a Room Using Reiki

We often think of Reiki as healing for humans, animals, and even plants. In fact, through my practice, I have only seen a couple other practitioners promote Reiki for space clearing. It can be a great additional service to add to your own business. The practice of using Reiki to clear and purify a room, house, or office is becoming more popular as some other methods are more difficult in public settings.

Using Reiki to clear a space:

1. Start by centering yourself and setting your intention. Set the intention to clear and purify the space of any negative or stagnant energy. Take a few deep breaths, and you can visualize yourself surrounded by a white or golden light.

2. Draw Cho-Ku-Rei toward the room and then the Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen to start distance healing.

3. Draw the Sei-He-Ki in all the corners of the rooms, doorways, and windows.

4. Walk around the space clockwise, starting at the entrance. As you walk, allow the Reiki energy to flow through your hands and into the space.

5. As you move around the space, focus your attention on any areas that feel particularly heavy or stagnant. Spend extra time in these areas, allowing the Reiki energy to flow until you feel a shift.

6. Once you feel the energy of the space has fully shifted, close the room with Cho-Ku-Rei. This will bless the house and all who live in it. You can also visualize the space being filled with white or golden light.
   If you have multiple rooms to clear, follow steps 2-6. Always remember to close each room.

7. Finally, express gratitude for the opportunity to clear the space and for the Reiki energy that flowed through you.

As you are called to do so, you incorporate the use other energy healing tools, such as lighting a candle, Palo Santo or sage, singing bowls, bells, and crystals.
