Feng Shui for Your Office or Healing Room

Feng Shui in an office or healing space is important for helping to manifest abundance, a larger client base, productivity, and for creating a peaceful environment for clients. When clients are at peace in a healing room, they are more likely to relax enough to allow for healing to take place.

While the subject of Feng Shui is in-depth, there are some easy ways you can incorporate it into your office or healing room to help manifest abundance and create a high vibe space.

Remember that with every step you take to Feng Shui your office or healing room, you should set an intention that your actions are being done with the intention of creating healing, abundance, creativity, or anything else you are wanting to manifest.

FURNITURE PLACEMENT:

If you have a table in your room for body work, you will want to position the table so it is in a power position. This means the top of the client’s head when laying down should point towards a solid wall and they should be able to see out the door. This position will allow them to feel comfortable and safe.

Your desk should have one side attached to a solid wall with visibility of windows and doors. Besides being in a power position, this is symbolic for being open to more client energy coming through your doors. If you are not able to place your desk to see out the door and window, you can place a mirror above your desk.

CRYSTALS:

There are many different crystals that hold a variety of healing properties. For the purpose of manifesting financial and client abundance, consider incorporating amethyst and citrine into your office space. Amethyst’s color, purple, is the color of wealth and abundance. In addition, citrine is the stone used to help manifest wealth and abundance. These stones should be placed in the wealth corner of your office.

The wealth corner is located in the upper left hand side of your desk or the upper left hand corner of your office (if you are standing in your doorway facing in).

Tip: Place a cleansed crystal in your hands and set an intention for what you want it to be used for before placing it in its location.

PLANTS:

If you have a window in your office, add plants throughout your space. They symbolize growth, new beginnings, and can help purify the air. If you are looking to manifest abundance, the jade plant, money plant, succulents, and orchids are all great plants to incorporate in your office.

A study shows that plants can increase productivity up to 15% in an office setting.

Tip: Place plants in the corner of a room to help where stagnant energy can build.

SCENTS:

Essential oils are another great way to increase the vibration of your space, manifest abundance, encourage productivity, and increase creativity.

  • Orange oil is great for the sacral chakra (our creative center) to help increase creativity.

  • Eucalyptus and lavender are essential oils for the heart chakra and can help promote emotional healing of the heart.

  • Peppermint oil is good for inspiration and clearing of the mind when you are working.

  • Idaho Blue Spruce, rose, helichrysum, and frankincense are some of the highest vibrating oils to help raise the vibration in your office.

  • Sage oil, rosemary oil, and palo santo oil help cleanse the energy in your space.

  • Sandalwood, myrrh, frankincense, and patchouli are oils that work on the root chakra and can help attract abundance.

CLEAR THE CLUTTER:

Clutter represents stuck energy and therefore inhibits the energy of creativity, productivity, and abundance from flowing through. Make sure your papers are organized in your drawers and the top of your desk is cleared each day.

ENERGY CLEARING:

Remember to take the time to cleanse the energy in your office or healing room, especially if you see clients and the public. If sage or incense are not an option, you can use essential oils, Reiki symbols, drumming, or crystals to help cleanse the energy.

LIGHT:

Use full spectrum light bulbs if you don’t have a window in your office. This will also help during the dark winter months.

COLOR:

Be mindful of the colors you choose for your healing room or office. Think about what you are trying to manifest in your space and also consider neutral calming walls with pops of color in art and accessories. Too much of a certain color can have an opposite affect on people. For example, an all red room can bring feelings of aggression or danger.

  • Green symbolizes new beginnings, growth, freshness, and healing.

  • Blue symbolizes wisdom, communication, confidence, and loyalty.

  • Pink symbolizes love of oneself and others.

  • Yellow symbolizes health, self-esteem, and happiness.

  • Orange symbolizes creativity, confidence, and happiness.

  • Purple symbolizes spirituality and wealth.

  • Red symbolizes passion and power.

OTHER:

  • Place a vision board in your office to have a daily reminder of what you want to manifest.

  • If you are looking to manifest more wealth, consider incorporating items that symbolize wealth including coins or a small figurine of a fish.

  • Hang a Feng Shui crystal in your space to help increase harmony and peaceful energy.

  • Incorporate any items that symbolize anything you want to create in your life or business.

  • For healing rooms, incorporating white candles represents the highest level of consciousness.

  • Listening to certain music in an office can help with relaxation, memory, stress, and creativity.
